London Light provides professional, cost-effective lighting services to theatre companies, producers and event organisers. We offer our clients with a complete design, implementation and operation service, taking care of all lighting concerns from the initial production meeting through to the get-out. We can also provide additional crew to work alongside existing lighting designers and technicians, as well as proficient lighting console programmers and operators.

Our designers and technicians have personal experience of lighting many hundreds of productions, in a range of venues from studio theatres to West End stages, marquees to television studios.

London Light has invested heavily in tools and technical equipment and we use these resources on all our shows at no additional cost to the client. Our advanced Computer Aided Design facilities allow us to prepare for shows in detail and we make regular use of professional lighting ‘visualisation‘ software to pre-plot cues and effects, saving valuable technical time at the theatre. A combination of our support resources and experience means that we can work extremely quickly, making the most of ever-limited get-in and production time!

At London Light we take our Health and Safety responsibilities extremely seriously. Members of our technical crew undergo regular industry training to keep their technical and safety awareness up-to-date. All our work is covered by comprehensive public liability insurance.

The fee we charge for our services is dependent on the scale of the show, the venue, number of performances and, most importantly, budget. We always strive to make the most out of whatever resources are available to avoid wasting money on unnecessary lighting hire. However when required we have access to a vast array of lighting technology to create breathtaking visual effects. Our designers and crews have experience and understanding of related production fields such as stage management, sound and projection - which allows us to work effectively within a production team to ensure we produce a quality show at every performance.
